Oath taking of DG Benitez

Newly appointed TESDA Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez took his oath today, August 30, before President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. at the Malacañan Palace in Manila City.

DG Benitez, who was one of the commissioners of the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOMM II), was appointed by President Marcos as the 15th Director General of TESDA last August 15.

In an earlier message, DG Benitez had expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Marcos for appointing him to TESDA.

“"I want to thank President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for entrusting me with this incredibly important role. The President highlighted in the SONA the important role of TVET in enhancing the employability of our workforce,” the TESDA chief said.
