The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) remains the most approved and trusted government agency, according to the survey conducted by PUBLiCUS Asia.

 

The 3rd Quarter PAHAYAG Survey showed that TESDA got 75% approval rating, higher than its previous 72% approval rating during the 2nd quarter survey.

 

TESDA was followed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) both with 67% approval ratings.

 

Meanwhile, TESDA also remains the most trusted government agency after tallying a 61% trust rating, higher than its 2nd quarter 58% trust rating.

 

It was followed by the AFP with 57% trust rating, and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) with 56%.

 

TESDA Secretary Suharto Manngudadatu thanked Filipinos for their continued support of TESDA and vowed that the agency will continue to improve its programs and services to upskill and reskill the Filipino workforce.

 

“TESDA remains committed to its mandate of upskilling and reskilling the middle-level Filipino workforce. We shall further strengthen our programs and services, and bring them closer to the communities,” the TESDA chief said.

 

It can be recalled that TESDA also ranked first in approval and trust ratings during the first quarter survey with 73% and 60% ratings respectively.

 

The PUBLiCUS Asia 3rd Quarter PAHAYAG Survey was conducted from September 7 to 12 with 1,500 respondents nationwide.
