The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) continues to enjoy the trust and approval of Filipinos, according to the survey conducted by PUBLiCUS Asia.

TESDA was the most approved among Philippine government agencies according to the 2nd Quarter PAHAGAY Survey with a 72% rating.

TESDA was followed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (DOST) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), both with 66% approval ratings.

Meanwhile, TESDA also remained the most trusted government agency after tallying 58% trust ratings.

It was followed by the AFP with 56%, and DOST, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the Department of Education (DepEd) tied with 52% trust ratings.

Newly appointed TESDA Director General, Secretary Suharto Mangudadatu, expressed his gratitude to the Filipinos for their continued support of TESDA.

As the head of the agency, Sec. Magudadatu expressed his commitment to delivering TESDA’s programs and services to the Filipinos, particularly those in the far-flung areas.

“We, at TESDA, are keen to bring our programs and services closer to the communities. My 10-point agenda will be our guide in fulfilling our goal of providing adequate education and skills to Filipinos who want to learn and be highly employable skilled workers,” the TESDA chief said.

It can be recalled that TESDA also ranked first in approval and trust ratings during the first quarter survey with 73% and 60% ratings respectively.

The PUBLiCUS Asia 2nd Quarter PAHAYAG Survey was conducted from June 7 to 12 with 1,500 respondents nationwide.
