A graduation ceremony was held for twenty- nine Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) who have successfully completed a 15-day training in Bread and Pastry Production NC II on March 15, 2022 at the La Trinidad Provincial Jail in coordination with TESDA-Benguet and the Local Government Unit of La Trinidad.

Present during the graduation ceremony were TESDA-Benguet Provincial Director Jimmicio Daoaten, La Trinidad Municipal Mayor Romeo Salda, Provincial Governor Melchor Diclas and Jirah Sidaya who is representing the Office of ACT-CIS Congressman Eric Go Yap. The training was supervised by Provincial Community Training and Employment Coordinators (CTEC) designate Julie Tabcao, La Trinidad CTEC-designate Elengy Bolide, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) - Community-Based Training focal Delia Lapay, and Bread and Pastry Trainer Haydee Baldino.

The 15-day training began on February 21, 2022 and finished on March 4, 2022 where lessons include Bread Making, Pastry Making, and Cake Making. 

The PDLs expressed their gratitude to TESDA for the provision of skills training, even if they are incarcerated. Jaypee de Guzman, who is representing the PDL trainees, said learning to bake delicious bread and pastries is an experience they will treasure and will open new opportunities for them once they are released.
