The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will honor its outstanding employees who have rendered exemplary service to the government agency during its 23rd anniversary.

TESDA Director General, Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong said that TESDA will give recognition to employees such as Loyalty Award, Model Employees and Perfect Attendance Award.

Twenty employees from the Central Office of TESDA who have served the agency for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years or more will be given Loyalty Award while the Model Employees Award will be divided into four categories - Category 1 (1st level employees with salary grade 1-12), Category 2 (2nd level employees-salary grade 13-23), Category 3 (salary grade 24) and Category 4 (3rd level employees-salary grade 25-27).

Aside from this, TESDA will also present 14 Kabalikat Awards to industry partners, local government units, legislative partners, development partners and national government agencies which work hand-in-hand with the agency in providing public service.

TESDA will hand out the Tagsanay Award to trainers in both government and public technical vocational institutions (TVIs) and TESDA technology institutions (TTIs) in which 29 of them will vie for the recognition.

Likewise, TESDA will honor its outstanding graduates of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) who have made a mark in their chosen careers under the categories of self-employed category (7 candidates), wage-employed category (14 candidates) and Batang TESDA Award.

TESDA will also launch the Regional Performance Award in three regions as it celebrates the birth anniversary of its employees who were born in the months of July and August.

Mamondiong has encouraged the public to avail of the skills training program of TESDA which they may use for local and foreign employment.

“To all Filipinos, know that TESDA is here for you, since each citizen is entitled and duty bound to play his or her role for the betterment of the country. This is what we mean by TESDA being the 'Susi sa Kinabukasan', as on TVET and this agency rest the key to this nation’s future," said Mamondiong.
