“As part of this Agency’s two-pronged strategy for poverty reduction, we are striving for social equity by making technical vocational education and training available and accessible to more and more of our countrymen who have otherwise been neglected.  We have opened our doors wider to drug dependent surrenderers and their family members; to the out-of-school youth; the unemployed; for returning OFWs and their dependents; to those in the basic and marginalized sectors; to family members of the AFP and PNP personnel killed or wounded in action; and, to inmates and detainees including their families”, sabi pa ni Mamondiong.

Bukod sa TESDA, nakibahagi din sa naturang programa ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Health (DOH), National Youth Commission (NYC), National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) at si Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

“The Serbisyo Caravan and other similar activities are indispensable in making our people aware of what this government is doing and what opportunities are being made available for them.  I encourage everyone to make the most of this occasion as this is for you and for your family”, pagtatapos ni Mamondiong.
