They can sing, dance, act, and sashay on stage like models. Most importantly, they can show off skills in their respective area of specialization. 
 
The technical vocational students, who took part in the Miss NCR-ATSA (NATSA) beauty contest, showed that beauty and skills can go together.
 
TESDA, together with the Alliance of TVET (Technical Vocational Education and Training) Schools Association or ATSA organized the pageant in the National Capital Region to promote tech-voc and showcase the positive attributes of its students.
 
"Tech-voc students can be a complete package with their skills, beauty and brilliance." Secretary Joel Villanueva, Director General of TESDA said, following the crowning of the Miss NATSA 2015 at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City last Friday, September 18, 2015.
 
Villanueva exhorted the pageant winners to be like ambassadress, who will spread the good news about TVET.
 
Bagging the title of Miss NATSA 2015 was Angelica Torres of Datamex College of Saint Adeline in Paranaque City.
 
Joanna Marie Lee of Quezon City and Shiela Marie Bernardino of Pasay-Makati City were first and second runners-up, respectively.
 
The candidates battled it out in the question and answer portion, sportswear, casual wear and evening gown competition.
 
The event also saw the holding of the first hip hop dance competition among the youth.
 
Emerging as the best dance group was Diversify 10 Crew from the Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, San Juan (PAMAMARISAN) district.
 
Runners-up were Datamex Crew and the Emilio Aguinaldo Dancers.
 
Villanueva was joined in the event by Pasay City Representative Imelda Calixto-Rubiano; NATSA president Danilo Ayap; local government officials; tech-voc school officials, trainers and students; and TESDA NCR staff. 

Angelica Torres, of Datamex College of Saint Adeline in Paranaque City, was crowned the first Miss NATSA (NCR Alliance of TVET Schools Association) during the pageant night on September 18. TESDA Director General Joel Villanueva led in handing the award to the winners.
