Secretary Guiling “Gene” Mamondiong welcomed the delegation headed by
H.E. Minister Hanif Dhakiri from the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry
of Manpower during their visit to TESDA on February 21, 2017.
The party was given an orientation on the Philippine technical
vocational system as well as the programs, services, best practices
and current thrusts of the agency. They were likewise given a tour
around the facilities of TESDA’s Women’s Center.
The Indonesian officials, who were enroute to the ASEAN Labour
Ministers’ Retreat in Davao, expressed their gratitude for TESDA’s
accommodation and conveyed their eagerness for possible areas of
collaboration between the two countries.
Deputy Directors General Rosanna A. Urdaneta, Rebecca J. Calzado and
Diosdado Padilla, along with TESDA’s Executive Directors were also
present during the visit.
