TESDA Director General, Secretary Irene Isaac, was at the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades (JZGMSAT) in Biñan, Laguna last February 10, 2016 to inaugurate the new TESDA-Samsung Electronics Products Assembly and Servicing Training Laboratory. The laboratory is the product of a tripartite partnership among TESDA, Samsung Electronics Philippines, Corporation (SEPCO), and Foundation for Information Technology Education and Development, Inc. (FIT-ED) which aims to provide training on various technical and vocational trades to the Filipino youth and, produce globally competitive and outstanding technical-vocational education and training (TVET) graduates with skills that are aligned with needs of the consumer electronics industry.
