How heavy is the PORTABLE WELDING MACHINE? That’s what the welding course graduates of the TESDA Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) under self-employment track found out when they received their tool kits, a portable welding machine of the KHATO brand during the ceremonies of more than 2,000 graduates of TESDA TRAINING TRABAHO mass graduation led by SEC JOEL VILLANUEVA in Zambales province. The TESDA STEP graduates received their certificates along with graduates of the Training for Work Scholarship (TWSP), Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA) program, and Grassroots Participatory Budgeting Process (GPBP) scholarship program.
Zambales Governor Hermogenes Ebdane, Jr. and Vice Governor Ramon Lacbain III along with municipal mayors from the different Zambales towns stood as witnesses to the graduation of their respective constituents.
“Ang tanging dalangin ko lamang po ay huwag niyo pong ibebenta ang mga iyan at hahabulin ko po kayo kahit saan kayo magpunta… Biro lamang po… (laughter)… Kidding aside, pakaingatan niyo po ang mga gamit na handog ng ating ahensiya ng TESDA at ng ating pamahalaan, sapagkat iyan po ay mula rin sa pinaghirapang buwis ng ating mamamayan at ibinabalik lamang po natin sa ating mga kababayan ng patuloy nagsusumikap na abutin ang kanilang mga pangarap….”
