One hundred Cebuanos will benefit from skills training scholarship in the Grand Halad Sa Kapamilya festival of services from ABS-CBN Cebu and TESDA in the recent Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing with the Kapamilya network. Aside from the one hundred scholars, TESDA will also provide free services ranging from massage therapy to haircutting and hairdressing vis-a-vis ABS-CBN Cebu’s medical and dental missions in Cebu province’s communities.
ABS-CBN Visayas Cluster Head Ms Veneranda Cinco-Sy signed in behalf of the network while Sec Joel Villanueva and Region 7 Regional Director Rosanna Urdaneta signed in behalf of TESDA. Sec Joel praised the partnership as the network will be able to help in TESDA’s advocacy of eradicating the stigma against tech-voc education as second rate.

Ngunit ang katotohanan po ay sa tech-voc may pinakamalaking chance na kayo ay makapaghanap ng trabaho dito sa ating bansa at maging sa abroad… We always say na dito po sa TESDA, meron po kayong career option…"
