Secretary Joel Villanueva led the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing with Japan Foundation Manila (JFM) for the training of Filipino health workers with foundation in Japanese Language and Culture. JFM Director Shuji Takatori signed in behalf of the foundation and was witnessed by the Japanese Language Training Team head and also JFM Chief Coordinator Shiho Tamura. Also present were Deputy Director General (DDG) Atty. Ted Pascua and TESDA National Language Skills Institute (NSLI) Administrator Maria Clara Ignacio.
This program is a joint undertaking of the Governments of Japan and Philippines under the Economic Partnership Agreement. This coming batch that will start middle of this month will be the 7th since the ratification of JPEPA.
