Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) chief SECRETARY JOEL VILLANUEVA recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Semi-Conductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines (SEIPI) headed by its President, Dr. Dan Lachica in an expanded partnership that will reach the Visayas region. TESDA will provide the facility for the training of Back End Operators in the region and the graduates will be employed by SEIPI member industries. This year alone, a minimum of 1,000 workers is needed in Cebu.
Under the leadership of Sec Joel, TESDA makes sure to partner with key employment generating industries not only to provide world-class training but also the opportunity of quality jobs for our kababayans.
