The Philippines, through TESDA, proudly welcomes delegates from across the ASEAN region as it officially begins today the WorldSkills ASEAN Technical Committee Meeting in Pasay City.
In his opening speech, Secretary Kiko Benitez emphasized the importance of skills development in preparing ASEAN’s workforce for the future. With WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 returning to the Philippines after nearly 30 years, this gathering is a crucial step in setting new standards of excellence in TVET.
This initiative is a critical step in laying the foundation for the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN Competition, which the Philippines will proudly host in August 2025.
