TESDA, under the leadership of Secretary Joel Villanueva and the DSWD represented by Undersecretary Parisya Hashim-Taradji, launched the Cash for Training Project or C4TP in Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati City. The project seeks to benefit 65,000 youth members all over the country. Other than skills training opportunities, the project also aims to provide job facilitation services and entrepreneurship support to its beneficiaries.
“Natutuwa rin akong ibalita na bagama’t ngayon pa lang natin inilulunsad ang C4TP, ang proyektong ito ay magagamit nang daluyan ng tulong sa mga kababayan nating lubos na naapektuhan ng bagyong Pablo sa Mindanao.Sa pamamagitan nito at ng iba pang pinagsama-samang tulong buhat sa ating pamahalaan ating inaasahan na sila’y muling makakabangon mula sa trahedya at kahirapang dinaranas nila ngayon.”
