CARRYING THE THEME “Investing in the 21st Century Skilled Filipino Workforce,” TESDA, in partnership with the Technical Vocational School Associations of the Philippines (TEVSAPHIL), held the first Technical Education Skills Development (TESD) Congress under the leadership of Secretary Joel Villanueva. Attended by more than a thousand technical vocational institutions (TVIs), foreign dignitaries and experts, and other stakeholders, the congress focused on enhancing technical and vocational education through reforms, developing the skilled workforce, and improving the relevance and quality of technical vocational education and training (TVET).
The education sector was in full force with the attendance of CHED Chairperson, Sec. Patricia Licuanan and DepEd Secretary Armin Luistro.
- SEC. JOEL VILLANUEVA
