Site visit to Jose Abad Santos Memorial School

TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez led the government delegation in a site visit to Philippine Women's University-Jose Abad Santos Memorial School (PWU-JASMS) in Quezon City to explore non-traditional education methods. Among the officials who joined Sec. Kiko in the visit are Department of Education chief Sonny Angara, Senator Win Gatchalian, and the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II) Executive Director Karol Mark Yee.  

The visit highlighted differentiated activities, student-teacher collaboration in assessments, and descriptive grading systems.

JASMS is known for its child-centered approach, emphasizing respect for the child, flexible learning strategies, and hands-on, research-based projects.
