TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez and DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, along with their team, received a warm welcome from the Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne as they commenced their weeklong High-Level Learning Visit to Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia.
The visit aimed to strengthen TESDA’s initiatives in skills identification, qualification standards, certification, scholarships, and partnerships by benchmarking Australia’s world-class Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) practices, which had long been a model for TESDA’s skills development efforts since the National Manpower and Youth Council (NMYC) era.
