The 8th Batch of TESDA Coke-STAR Program Training of Trainers composed of 26 trainers paid a courtesy visit to Sec Joel Villanueva. This is the latest batch of trainees on Gender Sensitivity Training and Training of Trainers on Entrepreneurship for Micro Business Enterprise last May 27 - June 2, 2014 at the TESDA Women's Center. A two-day training on Gender Sensitivity is required before the participants proceed to the training of trainers. They will return to their respective places to continue the program on the grassroots level.

The TESDA-COKE STAR Program aims to empower 200,000 women and sari-sari store owners by the year 2020 by giving them skills training in managing their business.

Secretary Joel Villanueva makes sure that the program continues to hone not only the women beneficiaries, but also the trainers and program implementors, who are at the forefront managing and delivering the program's package of assistance.
