Secretary Joel Villanueva completed the Philippine education triumvirate along with Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro of DepEd and Chairperson Patricia Licuanan of CHED in a meeting with stakeholders on possible revision of the academic calendar. CHED is organizing a technical working group that will take a careful review and study on the possible implications of such changes in light with the current developments in the country and in the ASEAN.
Sec Joel shared that TESDA is open to studying proposals in view that technical vocational education and training (TVET) delivery is competency-based.
