POSITION: TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST II

OFFICE: POLICY AND PLANNING DIVISION (PPD), PLANNING OFFICE (PO) TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-16 (PhP 41, 616.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20 % - Prepares terms of reference, concept notes, policy brief, and policy recommendations; 20 % - Reviews legislative measures, policies and all other TVET related laws and prepares positions paper; 15 % - Gathers and analyzes essential information and data from other agencies, institutions and other external sources as input in policy formulation, discussion and report generation; 15 % - Prepares Official Letters, Memoranda, Minutes of Meetings and all other written communications; 10 % - Provides technical assistance and support in the preparation of technical documents, reports and activities of the office; 5 % - Participates and assists in organizing technical meetings and national conventions; 5 % - Prepares communications/correspondence for internal and external publics; 5 % - Collaborates, networks and coordinate with concerned stakeholders in government, industry for TVET and other related activities; and 5 % - Performs other function as maybe assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the Job Experience: 1 year of relevant experience Training: 4 hours of relevant training Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2023 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2023 or January to June 2024 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
