POSITION: DORMITORY MANAGER I (RE-OPEN)

OFFICE: TRAINER’S TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (TTDD), NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (NITESD), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-9 (Php 21,211.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20 % - Supervises and manages the operations of the TESDA Dormitory, but not limited to the following: • Reservation of guests; • Cleanliness and availability of amenities at all times; • Supervision of personnel assigned at the dormitory; • Purchasing of emergency dormitory supplies. 20 % - Prepares dormitory-related reports and documentation such as: • Billing payments; • Order of payments; • Purchase request; • Room status; • Periodic maintenance report; • Inventory of dormitory supplies, materials and equipment; and • Payment of utilities. 20 % - Ensures guest satisfaction at all times thru improved dormitory services; 20 % - Maintains database of dormitory records; and 20 % - Performs related functions as maybe assigned.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, BBA in Hotel Management and other Allied Courses • Preferably with 1 year demonstrated ability in management and supervision; dormitory management, customer service, report preparation and database management • Preferably with 4 hours training in management and supervision; dormitory management, customer service, report preparation and database management

  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2023 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for January to June 2023 or July to December 2023 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
