POSITION: TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST II

OFFICE: ETESDA, NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (NITESD), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-16 (PhP 39,672.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20 % - Design course structures, contents, study guides, web/media scripts; 20 % - Develop online activities, assessment/quizzes per module of the courseware; 15 % - Analyze learning contents and identify multimedia appropriate for each topic; 10 % - Evaluate the content of the study guides, web scripts, video, voice-over script, illustrations’ captions to ensure that it is correctly written, logically structured and suitable for the intended audience; 10 % - Ensure that the course content is free of any grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors; 10 % - Coordinate the development of the instructional videos of the courseware; 10 % - Prepares the necessary documentation for the development of the courseware; and 5 % - Perform other related functions.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the Job Experience: 1 year of relevant experience Training: 4 hours of relevant training Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably with 1 year demonstrated ability in courseware development (Instructional Design, Course Content, Study Guides, web scripts and media scripts, video editing, voice over scripts, illustrations’ captions), report preparation and documentation. • Preferably with 1 year demonstrated ability in the use and/or management of learning management system. • Preferably with at least 16 hours of training in the use and/or management of Learning Management System; • Preferably with COC on Developing eLearning Materials Leading to Trainers Methodology II of other relevant training.

  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2023 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for January to June 2023 or July to December 2023 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
