POSITION: CHIEF TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (RE-OPEN)

OFFICE: COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT DIVISION (CAD), CERTIFICATION OFFICE (CO), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-24 (PhP 90,078.00) PERA: P2,000.00 RATA: P10,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20 % - Manages division’s programs/projects/activities; 20 % - Reviews and finalizes policy recommendation on Competency Assessment and Certification for approval of higher authorities; 20 % - Oversees the implementation of systems, procedures, and strategies in the promotion and continuous improvement in the implementation of the assessment and certification program; 20 % - Conduct research/studies to ensure quality delivery and implementation of assessment and certification; 5 % - Establishes and maintains a system on accredited competency assessment centers to ensure continuous compliance with standard requirements; and 5 % - Maintains a National Registry of Workers Assessed and Certified Registry of Accredited Assessment Centers and Competency Assessors.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:

Education: Master’s Degree Or Certificate in Leadership and Management from CSC Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2022 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2022 and January to June 2023 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
