OFFICE: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHONOLOGY OFFICE (ICTO), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-28 (PhP 145,427) PERA: P2,000.00 RATA: P10,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

15 % - Direct the collegial formulation of strategies, and policies related to ICT and information security including, but not limited to formulation of the agency's ICT Roadmap, the Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) and the Medium-Term Information Technology Harmonization Initiative (MITHI); 15 % - Direct and lead the design, development, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance of information systems and technology to support the integrity, efficiency, availability and information security of the agency's operations; 15 % - Direct the development of policies, and controls to effectively manage risks involved in the use of technology; 10 % - Direct the development and continual improvement of policies, and controls to ensure that Personal identifiable Information (PII) and related data are protected from unauthorized access and misuse; 10 % - Develop and lead a strong, capable, ethical, and motivated workforce; 10 % - Direct, Lead and Manage the ICT Operations of the agency; 10 % - Facilitate communication among different departments to develop the framework that will be used as the agency’s guidelines in the proper use of technology to deliver its mission and vision; 5 % - Coordinate with other department and understand their technology requirements. Direct the development, deployment, and maintenance of a cost-effective and appropriate technology to meets these requirements; 5 % - Lead the design and facilitation of ICT awareness and capability building in the agency; and 5 % - Provide expert recommendation to all ICT related Terms of References and Procurement and ensure a transparent and fair procurement of ICT services and equipment.

Education: Master’s Degree Or Certificate in Leadership and Management from CSC Experience: 5 years of supervisory/management experience Training: 120 hours of supervisory/management training Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Certificate of Completion on TESDA’s Online Course entitled “Practicing COVID 19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace”;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
