POSITION: DIRECTOR III
FORMER INCUMBENT: DIOSDADO C. ESCALANTE (RETIRED) and 
                                     ALEJANDRA N. DE JESUS (RETIRED)
ITEM NUMBER:  TESDAB-DIR3-36-2017 and TESDAB-DIR3-40-2017
OFFICE: REGION II
SALARY: SG-27 Php 123,839.00 PERA: Php 2,000.00 RATA: Php 17,000.00
 
THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 
20% - Responsible in managing the operations and activities of the TESDA Provincial Office;
15% - Establishes and maintains partnerships with external parties/stakeholders in TVET;
15% - Directs the formulation of policies relative to the implementation and promotion of programs to support HR development initiatives;
15% - Directs the planning of programs and activities relative to the various provincial programs and the resources required for their efficient and effective execution;
15% - Directs the efficient execution of plans with organized systems and procedures;
10% - Spearheads the organization and maintenance of the Provincial TESD Committee (PTESDC);
5% - Directs the monitoring of outputs and evaluation of outcomes; and
5% - Leads in building a strong, capable and motivated workforce in the Provincial Office
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
 
Education: Master’s Degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
Experience: 5 years of supervisory/management experience
Training: 120 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention
Eligibility: Appropriate eligibility for second level position (Career Service Professional)/Appropriate Bar/Board RA 1080

• Letter of Intent indicating the position, office where the vacancy exists and its corresponding Item Number);
• Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet with Work Experience Sheet (CSC Form 212 Revised 2017);
• List of supervisory/managerial learning and development programs indicating the number of training hours and photocopies of training certificates;
• CESPES Ratings for CY 2018 and CY 2019 or Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2018 and 2019 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review ratings for July to December 2019 and January to June 2020 and for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies of at least Very Satisfactory Rating;
• For government employee only: a copy of previous appointment;
• Service Record;
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Statement of duties and responsibilities for the positions held indicating the specified period covered (MM-DD-YY to MM-DD-YY);
• Authenticated copy of eligibility for Career Service Professional or Second Level eligibility, CES or CSEE (if any);
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; 
• List of at least five (3-5) references for each category with contact details:
• Superior/Supervisor (1)
• Peer (3 pax)
• Subordinate (if applicable) (3 pax)
• Client/Stakeholder (3 pax);
• Certificate of Completion on TESDA’s Online Course entitled “Practicing COVID 19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace”;
• Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received);
• Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) and
• Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates)
