POSITION: SENIOR TESD SPECIALIST

OFFICE: PO-MARINDUQUE, TESDA REGION IV-B
SALARY: SG-19 (PhP 45,269.00) PERA: P2,000.00
 
THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 
15% - Reviews and participates in the works of lower level specialists;
15% - Evaluates assigned TESD Programs and present findings and recommendations to the supervisor;
10% - Facilitates in the management of technical cooperation of TESD programs and projects;
10% - Provides technical support in the conduct of capability building programs on Policy, Planning and Research;
10% - Prepares communications and reports;
10% - Initiates programs that will contribute to the effective implementtaion of overall quality system of the agency in the region;
5% - Conducts researches on TVET trends and developments as inputs to position papers/proposals, among others;
5% - Prepares/Drafts Memorandum of Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding on partnerships between TESDA and partner agencies;
5% - Prepares Budget Proposals, Work and Financial Plans and periodic reports of the unit;
5% - Participates/Attends inter-agency meetings/for a and/or conferences; and
10% - Performs other related functions.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
 
Education:  Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Training: 8 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
 
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Good in oral and written communications
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Good in technical writing, monitoring and evaluation skills
• Good interpersonal relationship and work attitude
• Good moral character and work ethics

• Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212, Revised 2017);
• Work Experience Sheet attachment to the PDS;
• Service Records for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies OR Certificate/s of Employment for outside applicants;
• List of training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2018 and January-June 2019 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2018 and January to July 2019 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Potential Assessment Forms to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor and one (1) Peer;
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Statement of duties and responsibilities for the positions held indicating the specified period covered (mm-dd-yy to mm-dd-yy);
• List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details for the following categories:
• Superior
• Peers
• Subordinates (if applicable)
• Clients (if applicable)
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; and
• Certified true copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC.
