OFFICE: PUBLIC INFORMATION DIVISION-ODG-TESDA-CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-24Php83,406.00 PERA: P2,000.00 RATA:  P10,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Supervises and coordinates the operations and activities of the division;
• Manages the implementation of the agency’s communication programs;
• Manages the utilization of the unit’s resources;
• Supervises the preparation of yearly TESDA Communication Plan;
• Supervises the preparation, blasting and monitoring of the Press Release;
• Supervises the submission of monthly monitoring report covering the monthly news releases, good news, briefings and press conferences facilitated and radio/TV gusting and interviews;
• Supervises the facilitation of press briefings/conferences and media coverage;
• Supervises the coordination of radio/TV guesting and interviews of TESDA officials;
• Supervises the participation of TESDA to exhibits and fairs;
• Supervises the development/production of promotional materials including advertorials and video documentaries;
• Supervises the development, printing and distribution of TESDA flyers, newsletters and other advocacy materials of TESDA;
• Supervises the facilitation of requests from other offices for messages, speeches, design, interview guide and lay-out;
• Supervises the network of regional and provincial TESDA information offices;
• Supervises the management and updating of TESDA Facebook account and other social media accounts of the agency;
• Performs other related functions as may be assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:

Education: Master’s degree OR Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
Experience: 4 years of supervisory/management experience
Training: 40 hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention undertaken within the last 5 years
Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/Second Level Eligibility

• List of training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates (2014-2018);
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2018 for outside applicants or Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for January to June 2018 and July to December 2018 for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies of at least Very Satisfactory Rating;
• For government employee only: a copy of previous appointment;
• Management Competence Forms to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor; three (3) Peers and one (1) Subordinate;
• Demonstrated Attitude and Commitment to Work to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor;
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Certification signed by immediate or previous supervisors indicating managerial/supervisory cumulative experience (specify day-month-year covered) with actual duties and responsibilities listed down;
• List of at least five (5) references for each category with contact details:
• Superior/Supervisor
• Peer
• Subordinate
• Client/Stakeholder;
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; and
• Certified true copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC.
