The TTTP is a collaborative partnership between and among the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Temasek Foundation (TF) and the ITE Education Services (ITEES) of Singapore for the conduct of a structured training program in pedagogical skills for TVET trainers in a technical training environment.
The program aims to train TQI trainers to become TQ II under the Philippine TVET Trainers Qualification Framework (PTTQF). Only a selected group of 60 TQ I trainers in identified qualifications have been trained by experts from ITEES. These trainers will become the leader trainers for the training of other TQI trainers who will be trained to become TQII trainers.
The training is conducted in the Philippines and Singapore and is focused on the core competencies for TQ II trainers.
The First Batch of the training program has been conducted from April to June 2010. Out of the 30 trainer-participants, only 27 trainers have been evaluated competent and awarded the certificates for the completion of training.
