On October 7, 2021 | Secretary Isidro Lapeña, together with Deputy Director Lina Sarmiento, Region IV-B Acting Regional Director Joel Pilotin, TESDA Palawan Provincial Director Richard Amparo, and Executive Director Juliet Orozco personally inspected and toured the Palawan Provincial Office (PPSAT) facilities.
During the visit, Secretary Lapeña also handed over the toolkits to beneficiaries of Bread and Pastry Production NC II under a TESDA scholarship program.

TESDA Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña and CSupt. Joel Calvelo, Superintendent of the Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) formally sealed a partnership by signing the Memorandum of Agreement between TESDA and IPPF on October 7, 2021.
This partnership aims to equip farmers and persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) with skills training specifically on technologies applied in agriculture, and help promote food security during this time of the pandemic.

Last October 5, 2021, Technical Vocational Schools Association of the Philippines (TEVSAPHIL) held the virtual 7th National Tech-Voc Congress with the theme, "Facing Skills and Technological Development for Inclusive Growth, sustainability and continuity towards 2022 and beyond."

Last October 1, 2021 | Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña virtually led the mass Training Induction Program (TIP) for 927 scholars of TESDA-NCR and the launching of the RA 11230 o Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program (TTSP) which was principally authored by Senator Joel Villanueva.

September 30, 2021 | During the launching of "Duterte Legacy: Barangayanihan Caravan Towards National Recovery", TESDA Secretary Isidro Lapeña, as the Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security (CORDS) of Region XII reported the services and programs delivered by various regional line agencies for regional development and peace and order in the region.
