Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña, met the first batch of TESDA personnel bound for Camp Aguinaldo to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines on June 28, 2021. The said employees, categorized as A4, are frontliners of TESDA, extending major frontline services to the public. Sec. Lapeña expressed his gratitude to vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19, and the Department of Health for their support and assistance in the vaccination of TESDA frontliners.
TESDA Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña virtually signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) on the program entitled “Unified After-Care Referral/Monitoring System and Program for former persons deprived of liberty (PDLs)”.
This partnership aims to ensure the continuing assistance and guidance to former PDLs towards a productive reintegration to society with the help of its partner agencies.
TESDA Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña, together with DDG Lina Sarmiento and DDG Rosanna Urdaneta, entertained the virtual courtesy call of Mr. Atsunori Kume, the president of the Potential Abilities Support and Consultancy (PASC) Corporation on June 22, 2021.
Established in 2008 and based in Japan, PASC Corp. implements support services to analyze and develop the potential abilities of their clients, which are mostly national and international industries, and vocational training institutions.
TESDA Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña officially inked a Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA) with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and Philippine Army on June 22, 2021, for the project entitled “Construction, Repair and Maintenance of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Rescue Boats”.
In this partnership, TESDA and BFAR will provide skills training to personnel of the 51st Engineer Brigade of the Philippine Army who are often engaged in flood rescue missions in the CAMANAVA area. TESDA will likewise provide methodology training to the BFAR trainers.
