Isabela School of Arts and Trades, Ilagan City February 23, 2019
Magandang umaga po sa ating lahat!
I am happy to be here today during the inauguration and blessing of Heating Ventilation Air-Conditioning Refrigeration (HVAC-R) and Administrative and Tourism Buildings which will undoubtedly help make our services more efficient and accessible to our kababayan.
I was informed that this institution receives meager funds for its operation and infrastructure projects. And yet, through your commitment, and the support from our partners, we are now inaugurating and blessing these two newly constructed buildings for HVAC-R and the administrative and tourism annex building.
I would like to personally thank the Provincial Government of Isabela, headed by Governor Bojie Dy, who lent us the heavy equipment for the hauling of gravel and sand, and who was also behind the simulated course for driving classes. Let us give him a big round of applause.
Our sincere appreciation also to Mayor Evelyn Diaz who have contributed in the construction of these pathways essential to our trainees, and for helping us with the hauling of gravel and sand. Let us give her a big round of applause.
And, of course, my congratulations to the people behind the construction of these two buildings. The training-cum-production scheme which was utilized to give us these structures is a strategy that we should use more often, not just to keep costs down but also as a valuable training method to our trainees.
With the two additional buildings in our facility, it is expected that we will be able to serve more of our needy kababayan. Mas lalo pa nating mapapabuti at mapapalapit ang ating serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan.
Another highlight of this morning event, is the signing of the renewal of our deed of usufruct for the 1000 square meter lot at the Government Center with the Provincial Government represented by Governor Bojie Dy. And thru the generous assistance of the DPWH, TESDA will soon start the construction of its office facility.
Today’s event is a testament on how we have stood strong as an organization amidst challenges. But it will never prevent us from pursuing our mission to deliver quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating skills training to all Filipinos.
Our slogan, ‘TESDA, Abot Lahat’, implies that the agency is expanding and strengthening its mandate and services to reach out and serve even more partners and clients with a clear objective, to transform and improve the lives of our less fortunate kababayan.
TESDA is very grateful for being your partner and for tirelessly working with us to provide “Quality TVET for All”.
Thank you and muli, magandang umaga sa inyong lahat.
