POSITION: SENIOR TESD SPECIALIST (RE-OPEN)

OFFICE: TESDA WOMEN’S CENTER (TWC), TESDA WOMEN’S CENTER (TWC), OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL FOR TESD OPERATIONS (ODDG-TESDO)
SALARY: SG-19 (Php 48,313.00) PERA: Php2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20% - Reviews and participate in the works of lower specialists; 20% - Conducts independent research and studies; 20% - Provides technical/instructional services to top beneficiaries; 20% - Develops procedures and techniques in assessing TVET needs as well as formulating education/training program for a subject field; and 20% - Perform other related functions; • Facilitates and delivers competency-based training in Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) NC II; • Monitors the trainees’ performance in terms of knowledge, skills and attitude during the in-center training of EPAS NC II trainees; • Conducts competency–based assessment of trainees at the end of each module; • Enhances the existing session plans and training modules /instructional materials; • Maintains training tools and equipment, and facilities; • Submits Trainees Performance Report, Post Training Report, Inventory Report and other training- related reports to TWC; • Serves as Toolkeeper of EPAS Workshop.

Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job Experience: 2 years of relevant experience Training: 8 hours of relevant training Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•Must be a holder of National TVET Trainer Certificate (NTTC) I in Electronic Products and Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) NC II •Must have attended relevant upgrading EPAS trainings and seminar •Must have two (2) years relevant industry experience •Good oral and communication skills •Computer literate •Has good interpersonal, moral character and work ethics •Knowledge in MS Applications

  • List of training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2020 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for January to June 2021 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email address for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Certificate of Completion on TESDA’s Online Course entitled “Practicing COVID 19 Preventive Measures in the Workplace”;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
