Senior TESD Specialist


POSITION: SENIOR TESD SPECIALIST

OFFICE: PROVINCIAL TRAINING CENTER - PAGADIAN, TESDA REGION IX
SALARY: SG-19 (PhP 45,269.00) PERA: P2,000.00
 
THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 
15% - Prepares and submits to the head of the PTC the programs, plans, and proposed schedules of training in Welding for the whole year;
10% - Prepares and submits to the head of PTC the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) and Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP);
10% - Prepares Terms of Reference (TOR) for the identified Training Programs on Welding for the year;
10% - Identifies the training requirements, such as supplies/materials and facilities and prepares necessary documents for the procurement of the needed supplies/materials;
10% - Maintains the training facilities, lecture room, and workshop based on the Maintenance Plan for Training Facilities developed;
10% - Participates in the conduct of TIPs and Career Guidance;
5% - Develops competency-based learning materials;
5% - Conducts training in SMAW and GMAW qualifications;
5% -  Facilitates the submission of enrolment and terminal reports to the Registrar for the preparation of MIS 03 and 02;
5% -Evaluates trainees' performance and prepares progress chart;
5% - Conducts inventory of supplies/materials, equipment, and tools and prepares report of inventory;
5% - Coordinates and facilitates deployment of trainees to establishments/firms for on-the-job training (OJT); and
5% - Performs other related functions.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
 
Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Training: 8 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
 
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Computer literate
• Proficient in oral and written communications
• Good in networking and linkaging
• Possesses positive work attitude towards works and time as required
• Good interpersonal relations

• List of training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2018 and January-June 2019 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2018 and January to July 2019 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Potential Assessment Forms to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor and one (1) Peer;
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Statement of duties and responsibilities for the positions held indicating the specified period covered (mm-dd-yy to mm-dd-yy);
• List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details for the following categories:
• Superior
• Peers
• Subordinates (if applicable)
• Clients (if applicable)
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; and
• Certified true copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC.
