OFFICE: GREEN TECHNOLOGY CENTER (GTC), CURRICULUM AND TRAINING AIDS DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (CTADD), NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (NITESD), TESDA CENTRAL OFFICE
SALARY: SG-19 (PhP 45,269.00) PERA: P2,000.00
 
THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 
40% - Functions as a Program Facilitator and/or Trainer on his/her specific trade area and a Research Specialist and Industry Coordinator; Research, Information, Monitoring and Evaluation (RIME) Specialist; or Research and Entrepreneurial Specialist, and directly reports to the Officer-in-Charge of GTC;
     • Designs training programs;
     • Develops competency-based curricula, and learning materials/devices;
     • Conducts lecture and hands-on training on his/her specific trade area;
     • Conducts researches and studies related to green/greening TVET;
     • Prepares, analyzes and evaluates research and program or project proposals;
     • Develops procedures and techniques in assessing green TVET needs as well as formulating educational/training program for a subject field;
40% - Recommends, develops and implements quality standards and procedures;
     • Identifies, develops, and maintains industry linkages for the promotion of programs, projects and activities of the Center;
     • Establishes and sustains network linkages with TVET stakeholders and partners;
     • Liaises with internal and external parties on matters related to Center operations;
     • Markets programs and services;
     • Prepares communications and promotional materials related to green/greening TVET;
20% - Monitors, evaluates, and documents programs and services implemented by and with the Center;
     • Prepares and submits periodic reports; and
     • Performs other related functions as may be assigned.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
 
Education: Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Training: 8 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service Professional/Second Level Eligibility
 
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
 
• Holder of NTTC Level I (at least NC I in Agriculture, Automotive, Electronics or Electrical and TM Level I)
• Preferably knowledgeable in research, promotion/advocacy and product development
• Must be computer proficient
• Must be creative and innovative
• Must be people-oriented and a team player
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possesses good moral character and work ethics
• Must be hardworking, patient and diligent
• Physically and emotionally healthy

• List of training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours together with the certified photocopies of training certificates;
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2018 and January-June 2019 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for July to December 2018 and January to July 2019 (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• Potential Assessment Forms to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor and one (1) Peer;
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Statement of duties and responsibilities for the positions held indicating the specified period covered (mm-dd-yy to mm-dd-yy);
• List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details for the following categories:
• Superior
• Peers
• Subordinates (if applicable)
• Clients (if applicable)
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; and
• Certified true copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC.
 
Failure to complete the submission of above documents within the set deadline shall mean disinterest to vie for the position paving the way for non-inclusion in the deliberation process.
