TESDA, FFCCCII sign agreement to conduct skills training program

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority has found another partner in the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII).

During a small ceremony held yesterday, August 1 in Binondo, Manila, TESDA Secretary Guiling “Gene” A. Mamondiong, and FFCCCII President Domingo H. Yap, signed a Memorandum of Agreement formalizing a partnership that seeks to develop the capabilities and competencies of the Filipino workforce through suitable training and industry exposure.

Present during the event to serve as witnesses were FFCCCII Vice President Mary Go Ng, FFCCCII Industrial Relations Committee Chairman Antony Chan, and TESDA Deputy Director General for Partnership and Linkages Rebecca J. Calzado and Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Alvin S. Feliciano.

FFCCCII was established in 1954 by leaders of the local Filipino-Chinese community to further strengthen the existing ties of friendship between the Filipinos and the Chinese in the Philippines.  It is a non-stock, non-profit corporation with a vision to foster economic prosperity to the whole nation and alleviate poverty.
