Secretary Joel Villanueva led the Team Trabaho in another milestone event in Clark Pampanga in inking a Memorandum of Agreement with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) aimed at establishing a pool of qualified, globally competitive, and job ready workforce needed by locators in CDC in areas of tourism, industrial, hotel and restaurant services, agro-industry and business process outsourcing. The agreement also aims to strengthen partnership of different stakeholders in the generation of 100,000 jobs.
The signing ceremony was attended by CDC led by its President and Chief Officer Atty. Arthur Tugade and witnessed by Pampanga Congressman Yeng Guiao and TESDA Region 3 Regional Director Ted Gatchalian. Different locators from CDC were also present to witness this very important event. In his introduction of the guest speaker, RD Gatchalian introduced Sec Joel as "MR. TRABAHO” for his significant strides in emphasizing the role of TESDA in job creation.
