POSITION: SENIOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

OFFICE: REGIONAL TRAINING CENTER – TACLOBAN, TESDA REGION VIII
SALARY: SG-19 (PhP 51,357.00) PERA: P2,000.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

20 % - Provides technical/instructional services to agency beneficiaries; 15 % - Identifies, facilitates, and ensures availability of all requirements needed for the trainings handled; 15 % - Performs the competencies required of a trainer; 10 % - Conducts independent researches and studies; 10 % - Develops procedures and techniques in assessing TVET needs as well as in formulating educational/training program for a subject field; 5 % - Reviews and participates in the works of lower-level specialists; 5 % - Prepares and programs, plans, and proposed schedules of the trainings handled; 5 % - Facilitates the conduct of Training Induction Program to the Learners; 5 % - Facilitates deployment of learners to establishments for supervised industry learning and employment opportunities; 5 % - Prepares and submits required reports; and 5 % - Performs other related functions.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the Job Experience: 2 years of relevant experience Training: 8 hours of relevant training Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility

  • Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2022 for outside applicants OR Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) ratings for January to June 2023 or July to December 2023 (if applicable) (with at least Very Satisfactory Rating) for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • Copy of previous appointment for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
  • List of at least five (5) references with complete contact details and email addresses for the following categories:
    • Superior
    • Peers
    • Subordinates (if applicable)
    • Clients (if applicable)
  • Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma;
  • Authenticated copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC;
  • Awards related to Performance (proof of evidences in the form of citation, medal, plaque, for awards/rewards received) (if applicable);
  • Expert Services (Resource Person/Speaker/Moderator/Panelist) (if applicable); and
  • Committees/ TWGs Participation (proof of evidences in the form of memorandum, office order, and/or certification/certificates) (if applicable)
