Accountant IV


POSITION : Accountant IV 
OFFICE : Financial and Administrative Services Division (FASD), Region II 
SALARY : SG-22 Php42,652.00    PERA : P2,000.00        

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
• Assists in formulating technical advises needed by management and other units on accounting matters;
• Maintains books od accounts;
• Certifies availability of funds;
• Processes/validates all financial claims;
• Monitors and controls all funds of the agency;
• Prepares financial reports/statements;
• Acts as withholding tax agent;
• Networks with fiscal agencies on budgetary and financial matters;
• Assists in preparation of work and financial plan;
• Recommends systems and procedures on accounting matters; and
• Performs other related functions.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have al least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Good interpersonal relationship and work attitude
• With working knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Good in oral and written communication skills

JOB QUALIFICATION OF THE HIREE ARE:
Education :    Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job. Preferably graduate of Accountancy
Experience : 3 years of relevant experience
Training : 16 hours relevant training
Eligibility    : RA 1080 (Certified Public Accountant)

• Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212, Revised 2005);
• Service Records;
• List of training programs attended indicating the no. of training hours and photocopies of training certificates ;
• Performance Evaluation System (PES) Ratings for Calendar Year 2014 for outside applicants or Individual Performance Commitment Review (IPCR) rating for  Calendar Year 2014 for TESDA applicants or applicants from other government agencies;
• For government employee only: a copy of previous appointment;
• Demonstrated Attitude and Commitment to Work to be accomplished by your Immediate Supervisor;
• Management Competence Forms to be accomplished by (1) Subordinates, (3) Peers and the Immediate Supervisor; 
• Accomplishments/Achievements done during the last three (3) years to be endorsed by the Head of Office;
• Certified true copy of transcript of records/diploma; and
• Certified true copy of Eligibility by CSC or PRC.

Failure to complete the submission of above documents within the set deadline shall mean disinterest to vie for the position paving the way for non-inclusion in the deliberation process.
